When booking an apartment at Palazzo Alfani (Palazzo Alfani S.a.s.), you need to be aware of the following:
PERSONAL DATA:
a. In accordance with GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation and Legislative Decree 101/2018, all personal data of our customers will be processed both through IT systems and manually, in order to fulfill fiscal obligations (issue receipts, register data, etc.) and provide the requested service.
b. At the time of online check-in, customers will be required to provide identification documents for communication to the competent police authorities and to pay the city tax established by the Municipality of Florence. Completing the specific form and/or providing data for the newsletter will allow us to keep our database updated and inform you of our real-time promotions. Some rates may be subject to a security deposit.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 3 (three) days before the check-in date will not incur any penalty.
Cancellations made later than 3 (three) days before the check-in date or in case of no-show will incur a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total booking value.
Non-refundable Cancellation Policy
Some rates include a non-refundable cancellation policy. If bookings with non-refundable rates are canceled or modified, no refund will be issued.

Please kindly inform us of your arrival time at Palazzo Alfani to organize your check-in and avoid unnecessary waiting.
For arrivals before 16:00, you can leave your luggage at the property free of charge.
For late check-in after 20:00, we can organize check-in with our staff at a cost of €25.00.
Self-check-in is also available at no additional cost. Please contact us for all instructions regarding key collection and online check-in of your ID documents.
Child Discounts
Children under 3 years of age stay free. Discounted rates will apply for children aged 4 to 11 years.
Tourist Tax
The tax applies to overnight stays of non-residents in the Municipality of Florence for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The tax amount for this accommodation (payable at check-in) is €4.90 per person per night.
The Tourist Tax was established in the city of Florence by Municipal Council Resolution No. 33 of June 20, 2011, with its related regulation subsequently amended and integrated.

The tax is proportional to the type of accommodation up to a maximum of €5 per person per night according to the measures below.
The new tax rates, valid from January 1, 2020, were approved by Municipal Council Resolution No. 483 on October 29, 2019.

The tax applies to individuals who are not residents of Florence, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
Starting October 1, 2014, those staying in tourist rentals are also subject to the tax for up to 7 nights, according to City Council Resolution No. 50 of July 28, 2014. The tax is not required for other types of leases.
Exemptions include:
a. Children under the age of 12;
b. Individuals assisting patients admitted to local healthcare facilities, even on a day hospital basis, for up to 2 companions per patient;
c. Patients undergoing hospital treatments on a day hospital basis;
d. Students enrolled at the University of Florence;
e. Law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and civil protection workers staying for service-related purposes;
f. Severely disabled individuals, as certified under Article 3 paragraph 3 of Law No. 104/92 and similar provisions for foreign citizens;
g. Employees of accommodation facilities staying for work purposes only.
To benefit from exemptions b, c, d, e, f, and g, individuals must provide the accommodation manager with a declaration made under Articles 46 and 47 of Presidential Decree No. 445 of 2000 and subsequent amendments.
To benefit from exemption d, students must provide the accommodation manager with a current academic year enrollment certificate for the University of Florence.
A 50% tax reduction applies in the following cases:
a. School groups on educational visits;
b. Athletes under the age of 16 participating in events organized in collaboration with the City Administration.
The reduction for cases a and b is granted upon certification by the respective school principal or sports federation.
Accommodation managers are required to request these certifications.
Behavior Rules and Smoking Ban
Guests must avoid behavior that may disturb other guests and/or building residents. Smoking inside the apartments is prohibited. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas. A penalty of €300 will be charged to violators.
Animals: Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, and Other Pets
Pets are welcome at Palazzo Alfani. A daily supplement of €10.00 is applied. Please inform us of the presence of pets during booking.
Purpose of Service
The Terms and Conditions, their content, structure, and online booking service provided through this website (the “service”) are owned, managed, and offered by Florence-BnB (Soluzione Affitti S.a.s.) for personal, non-commercial use, governed by the terms and conditions described below. While we provide our service diligently, we cannot be held responsible for errors (including manifest and typographical errors), service interruptions (due to breakdown – temporary and/or partial – repair, upgrade, or maintenance), inaccurate, misleading, or false information, or non-delivery of information. Reselling, using, copying, deep-linking, monitoring (e.g., spiders, scraping), displaying, downloading, or reproducing any content, information, software, products, or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive purpose is prohibited.
Pre and Post-Stay Emails and Contacts
By making a booking, you agree to receive one or more emails prior to your arrival date, containing booking confirmation and information about your stay, along with various suggestions and offers related to your booking destination, and possibly emails after your stay.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions described herein – and any subsequent amendments and additions – apply to all our services provided online, directly or indirectly (through distributors), via any mobile device, email, or phone. By accessing, visiting, and/or using any application available through any platform (collectively referred to as the “website”), and/or making a booking, you agree to have read, understood, and accepted (also pursuant to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code) the terms and conditions described herein (including the Privacy Policy).
